Barbie: A Movie That Correctly Depicts the Challenges that Women Face in a Patriarchal Society

One of the most famous toys in the world just had its live-action version, and it is not what everyone expected. "Barbie" stars Margot Robbie as the titular character and Ryan Gosling as Ken.  Directed by Oscar-nominated director Greta Gerwig, "Barbie" explores the challenges that women face in a patriarchal society.  The movie follows Barbie as she goes about her daily routine in Barbieland along with the other Barbies and Kens. She wakes up, takes a bath, eats breakfast and picks a dress to wear for the day. Everything that she does in Barbieland is basically what every child that owns a Barbie does with their toy.  However, she started to feel different and she began feeling sadness, emptiness, and loss. Her magic disappeared, and she did not know how to get it back.  With the help of weird Barbie (Kate McKinnon), Barbie discovered that her owner created a narrative for her and turned her into depressed Barbie, and the only way to solve it is by visiting the hu

Grease: Rise Of The Pink Ladies - A Brilliant Show Worth Saving

If there is one genre that a lot of streaming services and TV channels lack, it is musicals. Ever since "Glee" ended in 2015 and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" ended in 2019, we haven't seen an original series that features original songs and amazing production.  The good news is Paramount+ gave us a show that we've been craving for as it introduced "Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies" on April 6, 2023. The bad news is it was cancelled after only 1 season. And the worst news?   Team Minho or Team Yuri? That is the question that's been plaguing the minds of the fans of Netflix's latest hit teen show 'XO, Kitty.' The new series takes place in the same universe as the 'All The Boys I've Loved Before' trilogy, and it follows the life and journey of the youngest Covey sibling, Kitty.  For fans of the 'All The Boys I've Loved Before' movies, you may remember that Kitty met a guy named Dae when they visited South Korea to see their mother's family members and immerse themselves in Korean culture. It was their way to connect to their mother and the home country where she grew up in.  Throughout the movie, it was shown that Kitty and Dae remained in contact, and they constantly Facetimed and chatted as both teenagers were committed to their long-distance relationship, waiting for the day they could finally travel to see each other in person.  In 'XO, Kitty,' that plan finally came true, as Kitty got a scholarship a

A full-length GL (girl’s love) series produced by a new company called Idol Factory has unknowingly opened the doors for GL shows in Thailand.  The said series is titled "Gap the Series," adapted from the popular novel written by P'Planoy. The show features Khun Sam (Freen Sarocha), a wealthy royalty that runs Diversity Pop, and Mon (Becky Armstrong), a newly hired employee who has admired Khun Sam since she was in grade school.  Khun Sam saved Mon's life when she almost got hit by a car, and ever since then, the sweet Mon has developed a deep admiration for the royalty.  To show her devotion, Mon followed Khun Sam's footsteps by going to the same university as her idol and applying for a job at Diversity Pop in hopes of getting close to her.  But things were not as easy as Mon thought they would be because she did not realize that Khun Sam was not the same person as she was back then.  Mon remember
